Citation Formats

Which citation strings resolve, why the form a state prints is safest, and which forms are refused on purpose.

  -H "Authorization: Bearer lb_key_..."

Resolution accepts Bluebook-style forms and the forms a state's own courts print. If several forms exist for one statute, the state's own form is the safest to send.

Example formsResolves to
Ga. Code Ann. § 51-1-6The same section as below
O.C.G.A. § 51-1-6Georgia, title 51, section 1-6
Wash. Rev. Code § 59.18.060 / RCW 59.18.060Washington residential landlord-tenant section

Ambiguous or incomplete citations are refused rather than guessed.
